mumbai terrorist attacks

i ihave been glued to the internet these last days watching for updates on the terrorist attacks that killed 100's of people over a three day period. i cant believe this world we live in when people just start going around killing random people in the name of some fanatic ideology that has no place in this world. i am not against muslims but i am against fundamentalist ones that have no regard for human life. i cant comprehend how people could just go in to hotels and train stations and a jewish synagogue and just go around firing on innocent people it is horrible. a rabbi and his wife just trying teach people about judaism and dont want to harm anybody they just want to help people get gunned down not because anything else but they are jews and there poor son has to watch the whole horrific incident luckily some maid that was hiding grabbed the son and takes him out of the building. i also cant comprehend being in a train station and terrorist just start gunning down people.
i decided to make an effort every day to pray for the victims familys and the world.
i do not reconize the world we live in today something is definately happening in the background hopefully these are the events before the coming of the messiah because i dont know how much more of this i can take.

shout out to orange juice

i want to give a shout out to pure 100% oj it is the best not from concentrate and just so yummy and makes you feel good too. if i had alot of money i would have a orange tree in the back yard and make fresh squeezed oj every day. until that day happens i will have to settle for tropicana or florida's natural.

get out and exercise your right to vote

i am excited and nervous about Tuesday election day. i am excited to see a new president in office,thank god bush is gone, but i feel that people will not make inform decisions on who the next president will be. i know we had eight years of bush messing things up but i feel that people are voting for obama not because he has experience, integrity and would make a good president, but because he is a change from bush's policies and because he is a black man. change is not always a good thing, it could be detrimental to the country too.
so on election day choose the person that you think will be the best person for the job and not just the color of his skin or because he is a change from bushes policies.

that being said i am not saying vote for mccain or obama or a third party candidate just make informed decisions and may the best man win.

new lcd monitor

i bought a new lcd monitor for my computer yesterday it should arrive tomorrow.
so i finally took the leap from crt to lcd . i hope that it is worth it, i heard that lcd is so much better than crt i hope they are right.

kevin smith preview

i saw a preview of a movie coming out on friday called" zach and miri make a porno".
i know your first reaction might be why is vod going to a movie with that name but you have to understand i absolutely love the director of that movie kevin smith that and there was not that much nudity in it i was surprised because i thought there would be alot more. i was actually scared because i brought a friend with me and i didn't want to traumatize him.

the movie was about a two friends that are roomates and are working jobs and still cant make the bills so they decide to make a porno together. there is alot of wakiness through the movie and alot of crass jokes so if this offends you do not by any means go to see the movie.
well any way i told the world that i went to see the movie and i dont care if you disagree with my decision tell someone that cares.

this post goes out to stanley kubrick. you make awesome movies and the cinematography is amazing too. i also love your soundtracks to the movies also. i hope you are in heaven so when i get up there i could watch some new movies of yours. to all the people reading this stanley kubrick is a director that made films as clockwork orange, eyes wide shut,full metal jacket, 2001 a space odyssey. if you have not seen these movies i suggest you watch them so you can be blown away like i am.

letchworth state park

last weekend i went to letchworth state park in upper new york. friday we got there before dark and set up camp. we ate dinner burned a wooden donkey and went on a midnight hike. we woke early the next day and hiked for 15 miles seeing tons of trees rocks and water i thought i was going on a half hour hike,that is how long this man said it would take but no it took about 6 hours and we almost killed each other in the process. coming back we were not going to walk back so we started putting our thumb out and finally a nice old couple gave us a ride back thank god. we ate dinner and built a fire and just sat around and just laughed and revealed thing that were probably not necessary. we awoke sunday and took the scenic route back to cleveland, along the way we stopped at a road side rest and eat lunch and this man stopped and talked to us about his entire life.
overall it was amazing weekend and much needed vacation.

i watched clockwork orange again the other day. i haven't watched it long time and i have to say i was blown away by this movie. it has so much philosophy and just the way it was filmed is amazing. so if you want to see a awesome classic movie check this one out

dinner with the poor

on sunday i went with my friend Rich and his friend Mel to a church serving dinner. i did not know that we were going to do that neither did rich. mel is just crafty at finding free food. so we ate with the poor in the community and it was alot of fun i enjoyed myself. my favorite part was talking to this nice old man, he was telling about his recent health problems and cracked alot of jokes. i was surprised how friendly every one was. i hope i go again

i saw a movie called thursday on thursday. it was a awesome movie from 1998 it had Aaron eckhart and mickey rourke. it was about a ex drug dealer that stopped dealing and got married and became a architect. then one day some guys from his past come and start causing trouble in the neiborhood.

i just got finished watching confessions of a dangerous mind and i loved it and now i want to read the book of the same title.

fall's here time to blog

fall is here and summer is over which means it is time to blog.
this summer was very entertaining and consumed alot of money on a apartment that i did not live in and rooming with a friend for a bit. so now im officially broke and living at my mom's again and i have to say it is awesome. food is free rent is free and i have knowledge on how to make my situation work for me. i have been out of the house eveery day and when im in the house i stay in my room. i have a deeper understanding on how to keep my mom off my back i just do whatever she says even if i dont want to and my mom leaves me alone. over the fall i will be going on couple trips. one to letchworth state park, it is called the grand canyon of the east and back to nyc this time staying in a hostel so that well be adventure. most important i will remain sane and wont do any irrational things.
anyways i better be giong so till next time dont do anything i wouldn't do
